Getting a Service Center appointment
The Ostfildern Service Center has an online appointment-setting program called "tempus, " which enables users to make appointments to deal with one or more matters at the Service Center. The software is run by Berner Telecom-Dienste, a company under contract with the City of Ostfildern (and a future carrier) . You will find the general terms and conditions regarding data protection in the legal notice on this website. You will find the declaration of consent regarding data protection for "tempus" here:
Transmission of personal data
The information that you give of your own free will is needed in order to definitively assign an appointment to a particular person. For this purpose, it is necessary to transmit your personal information over the carrier's server, which is located in Germany.
Principles of purpose
The personal data that you send via "tempus" is stored and used solely in connection with the specific appointment that you have made. The information is not stored or used for other purposes. Your data is not transmitted to any third parties outside of the city administration. Your personal information is deleted no later than two days after the relevant appointment. After that time, only data that cannot be traced back to you will be available, for statistical purposes.
Data security and communication
The data that you send us via the appointment-making system "tempus" is secured via SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption. If you have listed your e-mail address while making the appointment, you will receive a confirmation message for your appointment at the personal e-mail address that you have specified. Please do not use a "collective family address" in particular, nor a publicly accessible address in an Internet cafe. In your own interest, please ensure that only you have access to the e-mail address that you provide.
Principles of data storage and deletion
You have the right to information on, and correction, blocking and deletion of your personal data . In addition, you can make known your refusal of consent at any time.
